1:1 ABA Therapy
One-on-one ABA therapy is the core of our service model. A trained Registered Behavior Technician works directly with your child during each session, implementing the treatment plan designed by your BCBA. Sessions are structured to teach new skills, reinforce positive behaviors, and address challenging behaviors — all in a way that feels natural and engaging for your child.
How 1:1 Sessions Work
Each session follows your child’s individualized treatment plan. The RBT uses a mix of structured teaching, natural environment teaching, and play-based strategies to work on your child’s goals. Sessions typically range from 2 to 4 hours and may take place at home, at school, or in community settings. Your RBT collects data on every goal during each session so your BCBA can track progress and make adjustments.
BCBA Oversight and Quality
Your BCBA oversees every aspect of your child’s therapy. They review session data regularly, observe therapy sessions, and update the treatment plan as your child grows. This ongoing supervision ensures your child is making meaningful progress and that therapy strategies stay aligned with current goals. BCBAs also meet with families to review progress and discuss next steps.
What Skills We Target
1:1 ABA therapy addresses a wide range of developmental skills, including verbal and nonverbal communication, following instructions, social interactions, self-care routines, academic readiness, and play skills. We also work on reducing behaviors that interfere with learning or daily life, such as tantrums, elopement, or self-injury. Every goal is chosen based on your child’s assessment and your family’s priorities.
